🔧 Introduction to Tools & DIY

Perfect for beginners who want to gain confidence, learn practical skills and tackle jobs around the home. Learn the fundamentals of using common tools safely and effectively in a friendly, supportive environment.

What you will learn: Using battery drill, impact driver, changing and selecting drill bits, attaching things to plaster walls and drilling into brick.

🪵 Introduction to Woodworking

Learn the fundamentals of woodworking while creating your own project to take home. Choose from a small stool, succulent box, chopping board and more. Perfect for beginners looking to build skills and confidence.

What you will learn: Working with timber, hand tools for measuring, marking and cutting. Battery drill, drill bits, hole saws, screws and various types of sander.

Got the woodworking bug? This ongoing course is perfect for those wanting to take their skills to the next level. Enjoy more in-depth tuition while working on a project of your choice, with access to quality tools, expert guidance and a supportive woodworking community.

What you will learn: Introduction to woodworking, use of tools, principles of design, planning your project and complete a fantastic project over the term.

Mon & Wed during school term. Term 3 from 20th July

5:30pm–8:30pm

Weekend Woodworking Adventure

Turn your weekend into something memorable. Learn practical woodworking skills, create a project to take home and enjoy a relaxed, hands-on experience. Make a weekend of it by exploring the charm of Alstonville — great cafés, local shops and beautiful surroundings.

What you will learn: In two days you will learn introduction to woodworking, use of tools, principles of design, planning your project and complete a fantastic project.
